Calendar connect Doodle features Premium Doodle

Doodle introduces iCloud integration

iCloudLogoIf you’re an Apple user, then you probably know that iCloud enables you to store your content (including calendars) online and seamlessly share it with your other devices. As a Doodle user, you can now connect iCloud to Doodle so that your calendar data is synchronized with Doodle and iCloud.

This is great news for Apple users because the cloud-based integration means that the calendar data will always be available, current, and automatically shared with other devices.

To set it up, all you have to do is activate the option, sign in to iCloud, and you’re done. This feature does require a Premium Doodle account, and you can get additional information from this page.

Please try it out and let us know what you think!

  1. Easy to set up. However, all the details are shown on my Meet Me page. Too much information. I do not wish to share all the details of the meetings and where I’m going with the rest of the world. How do I turn that off? BY DEFAULT, the free version would aggregate and just show unavailable times.

Ted — this _is_ the default and in fact the only option. Only you can see the details. A visitor of your MeetMe page can only see the free/busy information. You can verify by logging out and re-visiting your MeetMe page.

  2. Actually, you are correct. I was logged in. Now I find that although I can see everything, nothing appears on my Meet Me page. I see that my Meet Me page seems disconnected from my account. IOW my MM page is blank and doodle wants me to set up a page. But I have a page! Help!

This seems to be a specific problem with your setup. I therefore suggest that you send a detailed description of your setup and problem to our support team at They will be able to help.

  3. That sounds great. Can I choose with which calendars doodle synchronises? (I want to synchronise only with a selected few calendars).

Doodle “synchronizes” all calendars, but on the fly, meaning that Doodle accesses the calendars only when needed, no calendar information is stored in the Doodle databases. And you can choose which calendar to display in the calendar view.

      • Hi, so do I understand correctly that of all the calendars that are sync’ed, I choose which ones will show up on screen of the person looking at the meetme or bookme page? Thanks, Daniel

Yes, you can choose which one’s appear in the settings of your MeetMe or BookMe page.

Great idea, not sure why we have to pay for it though, so can’t tell you how good it is as I refuse to pay for it. Shame, I was looking forward to that.

Yes, Doodle’s iCloud integration is a premium feature. We think this is warranted by the fact that considerable engineering effort has been (and is still being) invested into this advanced feature.
